Welding

Welding is a process that joins materials, usually metals or thermoplastics, by causing fusion. In addition to melting the base metal, a filler material is typically added to the joint to form a pool of molten material that cools to form a joint. Oxyacetylene welding or oxy welding uses fuel gases and oxygen to weld and cut metals and is the most common type used.
